If you start off with a belief that you can beat the best, then you would probably reach half of the best at the end, but the belief when you start that is what I term as optimism. But as always, since we are two different people, we are bound to have two different views. Also I do agree with what you say. If u think ur optimist and can beat any one in their forte that takes u no where.
